Entry forms are also available from the Teignmouth Tourist Information Centre.  
Float assembly will begin at 4pm with the 'Queen of Queens' competition at 5.15pm and float judging between 5.30-6.30pm. Procession will commence at 7.00pm approximately. To participate in the judging it is important that you return your completed entry forms to Shane Maryon, 8 Grove Terrace,TEIGNMOUTH,

by Mon 26th July and that you are in position and ready to demonstrate your entry by 5.30pm at the latest on The Upper Den on procession day. Online entries are automatically included in the judging sheets. 
Once the best in classes have been judged, please be prepared for the judges to come around again if necessary to judge for best overall.  
All winners will receive their prize money and cups/certificates at time of judging. Cups must be signed for, and returned by 1st July 2011 in readiness for the next Carnival.

Dissonance is an extremely talented four-piece rock band, hailing from Teignmouth itself. Within a year they have played over one hundred live gigs all over the UK, having gained a reputation as being one of the hardest working, tightest and most energetic live acts around and have built a dedicated following.  
 
These guys will blow you away with amazing classic rock covers and original material to match. Well worth a watch!!!!! 
 
 
 
 
 
The six piece band and singer songwriter 'Sophie Mendoza and the Sonic Blue' are Sophie's reassembled band of energetic, talented musicians that electrify the stage and with Sophie's powerhouse voice they have fused together a sound of Rock, Funk and Soul. Sophie has also performed with the likes of Joss Stone, Vagabond and Reef.  
 
 
The band has been together over seven months and has already been up and down the country playing headline gigs and hitting big venues such as Proud Camden and Underbelly in London. 'Sophie Mendoza and the Sonic Blue' are also jetting off in July to the United States, for a New York Tour. Teignmouth Carnival will be one of the first shows the band will be doing after arriving back from New York.
